IDgis presented its central spatial data system InSpider at InterGeo in Essen (Germany).
Herman Assink showed the set-up of the ETL process and demonstrated the user friendly data managers interface for mapping complex data. Further Herman showed the stress-test results, which proofed the excellent performance and scalability of the deegree based solution. Also the requirements for availability were met with ease due to redundancy and extensive monitoring. Furthermore Herman elaborated on the characteristics of the solution and the implementation of InSpider at the Dutch provinces. At last Herman Assink invited all to participate in this interesting and unique Open Source project.
